My first day back at work to find out that my parent company was sold.  I'm not sure if all the benefits that former employer offered is going to be offered with new (?) company, so I'm stressed right now I'm crying.  Chemo is taking so much out of me, and I was hoping to go on short-term disability for a month or so.  Not sure if I'll be able to do that anymore.  I might have to do unpaid FMLA leave or work through chemotherapy.  This not knowing sucks major ass.   I have less than three months of chemo to make it through and I'm not sure if I can do this.  Strength is one thing I'm missing right now.  In its place - exhaustion and lethargy.

Luckily, my company itself, minus all the parent companies, has been awesome and accomdating to me.  I've been in and out of the office since September, and they haven't given me an ounce of crap.  If I didn't work in a satellite office, I'd give my two bosses big hugs.

  1. UHG I am so sorry you have to deal with this. I'm glad they've been good to you at work though. Hope you get answers soon. Hugs

  2. You can do this. You CAN.

It's horrible and frightening and you might feel like you're simultaneously trapped, dying, and going insane, but you can and will get through it. Other people have, and you will too. I promise. You can't see it from here, but I speak TRUTH.

However, when it comes to Boomer-Zoomer's snacking habits, I got nothin'.
