Two Months Post Chemo

It's been exactly two months since I had my last chemo treatment.  My hair has come back with an absolute vengeance, and I love it.  This is only two months growth - I can't believe how much my hair has come back in so quickly.

I'm hoping by the end of the summer, I will have a nice pixie haircut.

Hair Progress Report: 5 weeks post chemo

I have noticeable fuzz on my head now.  It's dark too, so my fears that my hair would come back all white have been squashed.  I keep finding myself rubbing the fuzz, and boy does it make me happy.  In a couple of months, I should have a short sassy little 'do and I'll be able to go out without a hat or scarf.  Whenever I read that beautiful milestone, I'll be one happy cancer patient.  At least to me, I find great comfort in being able to go out in public without attracting attention and/or pity. 

Come on hair!

This is me with no hair and thinning eyebrows and eyelashes.  At the end of every month, I'm going to do a hair progress report.  Right now, not much to report.  Haha.  My left eye is starting to see some eyelashes fall out.  I barely have any on the bottom lids of both eyes anymore.  

Surprisingly, my self esteem is okay.  I think if I was really into my hair and putting on makeup, this would be devastating.  Right now, it's just giving me the occasional blues.
